FIREMAX FIRE RESISTANT CURTAINS AND BLANKETS

FireMax also introduces fire retardant and fire retardant curtains, specifically designed to meet fire safety standards and regulations, enhancing safety in industrial and public spaces.

In response to the increased need for protection in high-temperature applications, BlastTac® has partnered with CarbonX®, a leading provider of fire-resistant fabric, to create FireMax fire resistant curtains. FireMax is applicable to any of our series across the BlastTac line for additional high-temperature, fire, chemical and also arc flash protection.

FireMax is truly non-flammable as our custom woven fabric will not burn, melt, or ignite. Our fabric is lightweight, flexible, odor-resistant and fire-resistant. With a patented EPIC encapsulated barrier of silicone, FireMax fire resistant curtains and blankets are also water resistant and durable in harsh weather conditions. Similarly, FireMax sheds molten metal, flammable liquids and other molten substances. Consumers can also re-use them even after direct flame and extreme heat exposure.

For exclusively fire protection, FireMax now offers its own line of FM Series thermal curtains and blankets. The FM Series also uses Shield X® technology, which provides an additional thermal barrier. Our thermal protection properties will not wash out or wear away.

Additionally, field tests prove that FireMax is also capable of surviving heat and flame exposure far longer than competitor products. FireMax fabric also continues to protect without melting, dripping or burning.

FireMax is tested and certified to ASTM and NFPA standards at Chesapeake Testing in Maryland, ensuring compliance with the National Fire Protection Association’s rigorous safety standards. Blastac also offers a variety of standard features as well as custom engineered designs including:

MANUFACTURING

Our blankets and curtains are military grade and manufactured at our ISO Certified facility in Amsterdam, NY. Breton Industries is a U.S. Military Contractor established in 1949. Our military experience is the driving force behind the careful design and manufacturing of the world’s finest blast blankets and blast curtains.

The Blastac Fire Retardant Curtains Line

We engineer the BlastTac line using U.S. Military grade materials, including flame retardant curtain fabric and fabrics designed for safety and durability. BlastTac blast curtains and blast blankets are not only flexible and lightweight but also feature fire protective barriers made from industrial flame and fire retardant curtains fabric, ensuring they meet NFPA 701 test certification for fire safety. Manufactured at Breton Industries, a U.S. Military Contractor located in Amsterdam, NY operating since 1949, these curtains are designed to enhance safety without compromising on decor, suitable for hanging from the ceiling to divide floor space efficiently. The testing process includes measuring the char length to ensure compliance with safety standards, emphasizing the curtain’s ability to seal and protect against fire and smoke. The versatility in installation options, including the ability to adjust the length and width for a perfect fit and seal, makes BlastTac curtains an ideal opening for replacing traditional fire doors, offering a protective barrier that enhances safety in various applications.

This is Fireproof, this is FireMax.
